Vintage ConditionsA continued dry spell affected much of the fruit development during the vintage period but late spring rains provided a well timed boost to the vines and encouraged fruit development. Scattered heavy falls and at times, hail storms caused some various levels of fruit loss. The following months leading through ripening and up to harvest proved to be mild and dry, assisting the fruit to develop well balanced characters.
Grape VarietalCabernet Sauvignon
Vinification and MaturationParcels of Cabernet Sauvignon were fermented on skins in static, rotary and open top fermenters. A portion then underwent extended maceration in contact with the skins for a period to provide vibrant colour, flavour and tannin structure to the wine. Following pressing, the wine matured in a combination of stainless steel and a mixture of American and French oak prior to bottling.
We offer combined delivery for wine (750ml) and spirits (700ml) bottles for up to 12.
